There's a 15-year-old Senegal parrot available for adoption near Richmond Hill. I've only ever had young birds. What should I expect from a senior bird? Will they bond with me at that age? Any special care needs?

Oh my bird did this for about a couple weeks and I tried everything. Honestly, time was the biggest factor. They just grew out of it.

Second vote for BST. They boarded my Senegal parrot last summer and I could tell Peaches was well cared for when I picked them up. Total peace of mind.

I'd suggest trying covering the cage partially at night for 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. My avian vet recommended it and it made a huge difference.

Your bird is in good hands. The fact that you're researching this shows how much you care.

This is so true. Had the exact same experience with Sunny.

Hmm, I'm on the fence about this one. Part of me agrees but then I think about my experience with Blu and it doesn't quite line up.
