1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BST Community Forum (“Forum”) at forum.birdsittingtoronto.ca, operated by Bird Sitting Toronto (“BST”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Forum.

2. Forum Use

The Forum is provided for the bird-owning community in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area to:

• Discuss bird care, health, nutrition, and enrichment
• Share recommendations for avian veterinarians and bird-related services
• Connect with other bird owners and enthusiasts
• Access AI-powered bird care advice through our “Ask the Flock” feature

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Forum.

4. Content Guidelines

When posting on the Forum, you agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
• Share spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions without permission
• Post false or misleading information, particularly regarding animal health
• Share personal information of others without their consent
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. Veterinary Disclaimer

The Forum provides general bird care information and community recommendations. Nothing on this Forum constitutes veterinary advice. Vet recommendations are based on community experience and are not endorsements. Always consult a qualified avian veterinarian for medical concerns about your bird.

6. AI-Generated Content

The “Ask the Flock” feature and BST Forum Helper use artificial intelligence to provide bird care information. AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional veterinary advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post on the Forum. By posting, you grant BST a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Forum and related BST channels. The Forum’s design, branding, and software are the property of Bird Sitting Toronto.

8. Advertisements & Sponsorships

The Forum may display clearly-labelled advertisements or sponsored content. Sponsored listings are identified with an “Advertisement” or “Sponsored” label and are separate from community recommendations.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Forum is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. BST is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Forum, reliance on content posted by users or AI, or any interactions with third parties (including veterinary clinics) discovered through the Forum.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Forum after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the Forum.
