Every time I put a new toy in the cage my lineolated parakeet freaks out and won't go near it for days. I've tried leaving it near the cage first, playing with it myself, everything. How do you introduce new toys?

My lineolated parakeet did this too! Turned out it was because of jealousy of a new person, pet, or even object in the home. Once I addressed that, everything went back to normal.

There's a great bird supply store in Liberty Village that carries exactly what you need. I go there all the time.
