Spring cleaning the bird room — what's your routine?

Planning a deep clean of the bird room this weekend. What's your spring cleaning routine? I'm thinking new cage liner, scrubbing all perches, sanitizing toys, washing cage cover. What bird-safe disinfectant do you use? My African Grey is going to be SO annoyed.

When I had to travel, I used Bird Sitting Toronto and they were incredible with my caique. Daily updates with photos and everything.

So what I ended up doing was putting the food bowl higher up — birds feel safer eating at height. Within a few days there was a noticeable improvement. Definitely worth trying.

I struggled with this too until I started clicker training for 10-15 minutes a day. Now it's like a completely different bird.
