How did you choose your bird's name?

My Amazon parrot is named Luna because... honestly I don't even remember anymore. It just felt right. How did you pick your bird's name? Was it planned or did the name just appear the moment you saw them? I love hearing the stories behind bird names.

I remember when my Amazon parrot went through this phase. I was so worried but my vet said it's actually really common.

Reading this hit home. My lovebird went through the same phase around the same age. What helped us was stuffing paper towel rolls with treats for foraging. Also just accepting that birds are gonna bird, you know?

Have you noticed any other changes? When my parrotlet did this they were also being more vocal than normal.
