Hot take: Hahn's macaw are actually easier than people think
I see SO many posts about how umbrella cockatoo are difficult birds. Honestly? After owning one for 5 years, I think they're one of the more manageable parrots IF you put in the time upfront. The key is consistency. Am I completely wrong? Fight me.
I used to think the same thing until my lineolated parakeet proved me wrong. Now I'm firmly in the other camp.

I actually disagree with this. In my experience with my lovebird, the opposite was true. But I know every bird is different.
What kind of cage setup do you have? Sometimes the environment is a factor.
