Hello! Been lurking on this forum for a bit and finally decided to make an account and participate. I've had my umbrella cockatoo Storm for about 18 months now. Always nice to connect with other bird people in the GTA — most people I know think I'm crazy for having a bird lol. Excited to be here!

My vet in Whitby suggested leaving the radio or TV on when I'm out — background noise helps and I noticed a change within the first week. Highly recommend.

My vet in Brampton suggested putting treats inside paper cups, folded paper, or tissue for foraging and I noticed a change within the first week. Highly recommend.

I know how stressful this can be. Just know you're not alone and most of us have been through something similar.
