NutriBerries — are they treats or food?
Genuine question. My Eclectus goes INSANE for Lafeber NutriBerries. Like unhealthy excitement levels. The brand markets them as a complete diet but they seem more like a treat to me? Do any of you use them as a staple or strictly as treats? Trying to figure out how many is too many per day.
How long have you had them? Sometimes it takes a while for birds to settle into a new home.
Do you have other pets in the home? My lovebird started acting differently when we got a cat.
It took me a while to figure this out with my bird too. Don't be too hard on yourself — you're learning!
There's a great bird supply store in downtown Toronto that carries exactly what you need. I go there all the time.
Exactly my thoughts. You said it better than I could have.
Can we start a support group for this? Because SAME.
I respectfully disagree. I think it depends heavily on the individual bird. My Oliver is the total opposite.
Oh my bird did this for about about 10 days and I tried everything. Honestly, time was the biggest factor. They just grew out of it.
Have you reached out to Bird Sitting Toronto? They really know their stuff when it comes to bird care.
