Hello! Been lurking on this forum for a bit and finally decided to make an account and participate. I've had my Eclectus Bean for about 10 years now. Always nice to connect with other bird people in the GTA — most people I know think I'm crazy for having a bird lol. Excited to be here!

Welcome to the forum! Great to have another bird lover from the GTA. Your lineolated parakeet sounds adorable — what's their personality like?

My advice would be adding foraging opportunities to at least 3 different spots in the cage. Went through the same thing with my sun conure last year.

Dealt with this for months. What finally worked was changing their sleep schedule and just being really patient. They come around eventually.

My Storm went through a phase like this around 5 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
