TIL birds can see UV light and it changes everything

Just learned that birds can see ultraviolet light that humans can't. This means their feathers look COMPLETELY different to each other than they do to us. Also means UV lighting in their room isn't just about vitamin D — they literally see the world differently under it. My lovebird's cage lamp just became essential.
