Just wanted to give a shoutout to Bird Sitting Toronto. Left my zebra finch with them for 10 days while we visited family and Tweety came home happy and healthy. They sent daily photo updates. Honestly the best experience. Highly recommend for anyone in Oshawa!

Dealt with this for months. What finally worked was changing the food brand and just being really patient. They come around eventually.

My Tweety went through a phase like this around 2 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.

My advice would be switching from seed to Harrison's pellets gradually over 2 weeks. Went through the same thing with my budgie last year.

Have you tried keeping a super consistent daily routine β€” birds thrive on predictability? That's what solved this issue for us. Game changer honestly.

This happened to us last winter. I think the shorter days and dry heated air were the cause for my bird.

LOVE this post! More of this energy please. The bird community needs more positive threads like this.

Totally normal, don't stress! Birds go through phases just like any other pet.

How long have you had them? Sometimes it takes a while for birds to settle into a new home.

What kind of cage setup do you have? Sometimes the environment is a factor.

For this I'd highly recommend Roudybush. My caique loves it and my vet approved it too.
