Holiday travel — when to book a bird sitter?

Planning a trip for the summer and wondering how far in advance I should book a bird sitter. Last December I left it too late and struggled to find anyone in Kitchener who knows birds. Lesson learned!

Oh man, this brings back memories. When we were dealing with this with Maple, I thought we'd never get through it. Now it's just a funny memory. It gets better, I promise.

Second vote for BST. They boarded my lovebird last summer and I could tell Clover was well cared for when I picked them up. Total peace of mind.
