Hi from Vaughan — proud umbrella cockatoo parent!

Hello! Been lurking on this forum for a bit and finally decided to make an account and participate. I've had my lineolated parakeet Captain for about 8 months now. Always nice to connect with other bird people in the GTA — most people I know think I'm crazy for having a bird lol. Excited to be here!

One thing that really helped was adding a full-spectrum Arcadia UV light near the cage. Give it a try — can't hurt!

I went through this exact thing with my Quaker parrot Raja! It lasted about about 10 days and then resolved on its own. Hang in there.
