Hi! I'm new here but definitely not new to birds. My Indian Ringneck Jade has been my companion for 10 years and I honestly can't imagine life without them. Just moved to High Park recently and looking to connect with other bird owners in the area. Happy to be here!

So I had this exact problem about a year ago. Let me share what I learned. The key thing is using a shower perch so they can bathe with warm mist. A lot of people also recommend rotating toys weekly so they always have something "new". My avian vet in Barrie also suggested checking for hormonal season — spring is brutal which can sometimes be an underlying factor. Good luck — feel free to DM me if you have questions!

This happened to us last winter. I think the shorter days and dry heated air were the cause for my bird.
