Things I say to my Indian Ringneck that would concern a therapist

'Who's the prettiest baby in the world? You are!' 'Don't eat that, it's my lunch.' 'Why are you like this?' 'I love you more than most humans.' 'Please stop screaming, the neighbours are going to call someone.' Just normal bird owner things right? RIGHT?

I'd suggest trying spending at minimum 2 hours of supervised out-of-cage time daily. My avian vet recommended it and it made a huge difference.

My vet in Guelph suggested rearranging the cage every couple weeks to prevent boredom and I noticed a change within the first week. Highly recommend.

It took me a while to figure this out with my bird too. Don't be too hard on yourself — you're learning!
