Just wanted to say thank you. When I first got my lovebird, I was SO overwhelmed and this forum was a lifeline. The advice, the support, the people who told me it gets better — you were right. Sunny and I are thriving now. This community is genuinely wonderful.

I struggled with this too until I started stuffing paper towel rolls with treats for foraging. Now it's like a completely different bird.

Absolutely love hearing success stories! This gives me so much hope for me and Fig. Thank you for sharing!

My advice would be putting the food bowl higher up — birds feel safer eating at height. Went through the same thing with my cockatiel last year.
