Just wanted to give a shoutout to Bird Sitting Toronto. Left my African Grey with them for 10 days while we visited family and Noodle came home happy and healthy. They sent daily photo updates. Honestly the best experience. Highly recommend for anyone in downtown Toronto!

Exactly my thoughts. You said it better than I could have.

My vet in Markham suggested spending at minimum 2 hours of supervised out-of-cage time daily and I noticed a change within the first week. Highly recommend.

I've done a ton of research on this because my Senegal parrot had the same issue. Here's what I learned: the most common cause is a subtle environmental change you might not even notice. What worked for us was getting natural java wood perches from a specialty bird store. I also started rotating toys weekly so they always have something "new" and noticed improvement within a week. It's a process but it gets better.

Is this a new behavior or has it always been like this? Context might help figure it out.
