With all the dust my canary produces (seriously, it's like living in a flour mill), I need an air purifier. Which ones are safe around birds? I know ionizers are dangerous. Any recommendations that work well in a Toronto apartment?

What does their diet look like? Sometimes these things are diet-related.

So I had this exact problem about a year ago. Let me share what I learned. The key thing is clicker training for 10-15 minutes a day. A lot of people also recommend switching to a natural cleaning spray like F10. My avian vet in Ajax also suggested checking for not enough quality sleep β€” they need 10-12 hours uninterrupted which can sometimes be an underlying factor. Good luck β€” feel free to DM me if you have questions!

Have you tried spending at minimum 2 hours of supervised out-of-cage time daily? That's what solved this issue for us. Game changer honestly.

This is one of those topics where I think there genuinely is no right answer. Both sides have valid points.
