My Hahn's macaw only bonds with one person

My budgie absolutely LOVES my partner but hisses and lunges at me, and I'm the one who feeds and cleans! Anyone else deal with this? How did you build a relationship with a one-person bird?

I know how stressful this can be. Just know you're not alone and most of us have been through something similar.

I'd suggest trying offering chop first thing in the morning when they're hungriest. My avian vet recommended it and it made a huge difference.

Which avian vet do you go to? I'm looking for a good one near Markham.

Update: took everyone's advice and things are improving. Oliver is slowly coming around. This forum is the best.
