6-month update on my new green cheek conure

Six months in and I can't imagine life without Charlie. When I first got them they were hand-shy and wouldn't make eye contact. Now they greet me every morning with a head bob, eat from my hand, and even started mimicking my laugh. To everyone in the early bonding phase: it gets SO much better.

I struggled with this too until I started playing calming bird sounds from YouTube during the day. Now it's like a completely different bird.

My Mochi went through a phase like this around 7 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
