Emergency contact plan for bird owners

After a recent health scare, I realized I have no emergency plan for my sun conure if something happens to me. Does anyone have a buddy system or emergency contact specifically for their birds? How do you set this up?

My green cheek conure did this too! Turned out it was because of the cage being in a high-traffic or drafty location. Once I addressed that, everything went back to normal.

Totally normal, don't stress! Birds go through phases just like any other pet.

My advice would be putting treats inside paper cups, folded paper, or tissue for foraging. Went through the same thing with my canary last year.
