FINALLY got my lineolated parakeet eating vegetables!

After MONTHS of trying every trick in the book — chop, skewers, birdie bread, eating veggies in front of them, hiding them in other foods — my zebra finch Biscuit ate a piece of broccoli today. OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL. I'm throwing a party. What finally worked: putting treats inside paper cups, folded paper, or tissue for foraging. Don't give up!!!

This is peak umbrella cockatoo behavior honestly. They wake up and choose chaos every single day and we love them for it.
