My Quaker parrot discovered the bathtub and I can't stop laughing

Okay so I left the bathroom door open and Gizmo decided to investigate. They are now standing in a shallow pool of water in the tub, wings spread out, absolutely LIVING their best life. I wish I could share a photo — imagine a tiny Quaker parrot in a human bathtub looking like they own the place. Anyone else's bird have a weird bathing spot?

My Jade went through a phase like this around 4 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.

Reading this hit home. My canary went through the same phase around the same age. What helped us was playing calming bird sounds from YouTube during the day. Also just accepting that birds are gonna bird, you know?
