New here! Just got my first Eclectus

Hey everyone! I'm from Etobicoke and I just brought home my first bird ever — a lineolated parakeet named Jade. I'm equal parts excited and terrified. Been reading everything I can find online but there's so much conflicting info. Any beginner tips from experienced owners would be amazing! Looking forward to being part of this community.

I have a similar story. My umbrella cockatoo used to do the exact same thing. I remember being SO frustrated until one day it just clicked. Patience is truly the key with birds.

What kind of cage setup do you have? Sometimes the environment is a factor.

Oh man, this brings back memories. When we were dealing with this with Poppy, I thought we'd never get through it. Now it's just a funny memory. It gets better, I promise.
