New here! Just got my first budgie

Hey everyone! I'm from Burlington and I just brought home my first bird ever — a umbrella cockatoo named Gizmo. I'm equal parts excited and terrified. Been reading everything I can find online but there's so much conflicting info. Any beginner tips from experienced owners would be amazing! Looking forward to being part of this community.

Birds are basically tiny dinosaurs with attitude. My Captain has me completely trained at this point.

How old is your bird? That might explain it — my Indian Ringneck went through something similar around 4 years.

I've tried a bunch of brands and TOP's pellets is hands down the best value. My Sky devours it.
