How much should a Eclectus eat daily?

I feel like my lovebird either eats like a truck or barely touches their food depending on the day. What's a normal amount? I free-feed pellets and offer fresh food twice a day. Am I doing this right?

Dealt with this for months. What finally worked was changing how I approach the cage and just being really patient. They come around eventually.

Have you tried getting natural java wood perches from a specialty bird store? That's what solved this issue for us. Game changer honestly.
