My blue and gold macaw only bonds with one person

My Eclectus absolutely LOVES my partner but hisses and lunges at me, and I'm the one who feeds and cleans! Anyone else deal with this? How did you build a relationship with a one-person bird?

This is one of those topics where I think there genuinely is no right answer. Both sides have valid points.

My Pionus did this too! Turned out it was because of the cage being in a high-traffic or drafty location. Once I addressed that, everything went back to normal.

My Basil went through a phase like this around 18 months. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
