Post-surgery update — my lineolated parakeet is going to be okay!

Posted a few weeks ago about Snowball needing surgery. Just wanted to update everyone — the surgery went well and Sky is recovering at home! The vet in Etobicoke was incredible. Thank you all for the support and good vibes. This community is the best.

There's a great little shop in Barrie that specializes in parrot supplies. Way better selection than the big chains.

Did this start suddenly or was it gradual? When my African Grey did this it turned out to be being moved to a new cage or new room.

What kind of cage setup do you have? Sometimes the environment is a factor.

This is peak budgie behavior honestly. They wake up and choose chaos every single day and we love them for it.

I struggled with this too until I started stuffing paper towel rolls with treats for foraging. Now it's like a completely different bird.
