Full spectrum bird lamps — which one do you use?
My avian vet in downtown Toronto recommended a full-spectrum UV lamp for my blue and gold macaw especially during Canadian winters. There are so many options though — Arcadia, Zoo Med, FeatherBrite. Which one do you use and are you happy with it? Is there actually a noticeable difference in your bird's behavior?

Have you reached out to Bird Sitting Toronto? They really know their stuff when it comes to bird care.
Great question! So in my experience with Senegal parrot, this usually comes down to a few things. First, stuffing paper towel rolls with treats for foraging. Second, make sure they're getting enough sleep — 12 hours of uninterrupted dark sleep is crucial. And third, pay attention to territorial behavior — especially common during breeding season because that was a huge factor for my Clover. Hope that helps!
