When did your parrotlet start talking?

My Pionus Blu is 18 months old and hasn't said a word yet. Lots of chirping and mimicking sounds but no actual words. When did yours start? Am I being impatient?

My Basil went through a phase like this around 3 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
