The longer days have triggered full hormonal mode in my canary. Blu is being territorial, regurgitating on everything, and screaming more than usual. I know it passes but MAN it's exhausting. What are your strategies for managing hormonal season?

Update: took everyone's advice and things are improving. Maple is slowly coming around. This forum is the best.

Which avian vet do you go to? I'm looking for a good one near Milton.

Dealt with this for months. What finally worked was changing their perch layout and just being really patient. They come around eventually.

Second vote for BST. They boarded my Indian Ringneck last summer and I could tell Charlie was well cared for when I picked them up. Total peace of mind.

I have a similar story. My cockatiel used to do the exact same thing. I remember being SO frustrated until one day it just clicked. Patience is truly the key with birds.

My Mochi went through a phase like this around 15 years. I was terrified but it passed. Birds are weird sometimes lol.
