My Pionus finally took a bath without freaking out!!!

I literally cried. After a couple weeks of patient work, Echo finally learned to wave today. I know it sounds small but if you've been through the bonding process with a nervous bird you know how HUGE this is. Never give up, it's so worth it.

If you're near Whitby, PetSmart on Hurontario St actually has a decent bird section. Better than most locations.

I'd suggest trying positive reinforcement with their favorite treat every time they do the right thing. My avian vet recommended it and it made a huge difference.
