Holiday travel — when to book a bird sitter?

Planning a trip for the summer and wondering how far in advance I should book a bird sitter. Last December I left it too late and struggled to find anyone in Brampton who knows birds. Lesson learned!

Lol my Hahn's macaw does the exact same thing. I've just accepted that the bird runs the house now. I'm just the food delivery service.
