Volunteer Temporary Foster Needed for Juca — Toronto/GTA

Hello everyone. I am urgently looking for an experienced bird owner who could temporarily foster Juca, my green-cheek conure, at no cost.

I am facing eviction and searching for pet-friendly housing. The foster period is uncertain, although I sincerely hope it will be short (01 month at least though)

Juca was born on September 9, 2002. He is friendly, quiet, comfortable with handling, and has never been paired or bonded with another bird. His sex was never confirmed through DNA testing, although his breeder believed he was probably male.

Juca is a very important emotional-support companion to me. This is temporary care only—not surrender, adoption, or permanent rehoming. I intend to bring him home as soon as I secure suitable housing.

I can provide his cage, food, supplies, routine, and detailed care instructions. Any arrangement would be documented as temporary, with me remaining Juca’s owner.

I am located in Toronto and can consider a suitable home within Toronto or the GTA. A foster should have experience with conures or other parrots and understand bird-safe household care.
