March in Toronto means wild temperature swings. One day it's -10, next day it's +5. Our birds feel these changes too. Things I do in March: start adjusting the light timer (gradually increase), begin offering more fresh greens (they're getting cheaper at the store), crack a window for fresh air on warmer days (with bird secured). Also — spring hormones are ramping up. Be prepared! What's your spring prep routine?

How old is your bird? That might explain it — my sun conure went through something similar around 2 years.

I went through this exact thing with my sun conure Sky! It lasted about about a month and then resolved on its own. Hang in there.

I've done a ton of research on this because my lovebird had the same issue. Here's what I learned: the most common cause is a change in routine or schedule. What worked for us was leaving the radio or TV on when I'm out — background noise helps. I also started switching to a natural cleaning spray like F10 and noticed improvement within a week. It's a process but it gets better.
