Every morning at exactly 5 PM when I come home, my Indian Ringneck starts their morning concert. No snooze button. No volume control. Just pure unfiltered bird joy at an unreasonable hour. My neighbours in the Danforth probably hate me. What time does your feathered alarm go off?

I just snorted coffee out of my nose reading this. My blue and gold macaw is looking at me like I've lost it.

I've had birds for 15 years and I've seen this many times. In my experience it usually comes down to insufficient UV light exposure, especially in Canadian winters.

Which avian vet do you go to? I'm looking for a good one near Liberty Village.
