Bird insurance — worth it or waste of money?

Just got quoted $35/month for avian pet insurance for my zebra finch. An emergency vet visit can easily cost $500-1000+ so maybe it makes sense? But the coverage seems limited. Does anyone here have bird insurance? Was it worth it when you needed it?

My parrotlet did this too! Turned out it was because of boredom from lack of enrichment and mental stimulation. Once I addressed that, everything went back to normal.
